What is Qurbani ?

Qurbani: A Day of Sacrifice and Blessings. Qurbani, the act of sacrifice, is a significant part of Eid ul Adha, a time when we remember the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Our services: for the last two Eid ul Adha festivals, over 1000 families have been supported through the Qurbani donations, helping them receive fresh meat to celebrate this blessed day. Eligible recipients include the poor, orphans, widows, and those facing financial hardships.

As Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an, "It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your taqwa (piety) that reaches Him" (Qur'an 22:37).

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also said, "Whoever can afford to perform Qurbani but does not, let him not approach our prayer place" (Ibn Majah).

On this special day, Qurbani provides the less fortunate with not only food but also a sense of dignity, love, and care. It fosters a sense of community and strengthens bonds, bringing the spirit of generosity and sacrifice to life.
